I believe running a blog is an opportunity to make money especially now that many companies compete to attract customers using different ways including advert. Also , students must remember that jobs are scarce. This means students must grab any opportunity for self employment.
In my earlier lecture last week, I told students that in order to have successful blogs, they must take care of three things.
Firstly, they must choose a good theme for their blog. The more unique is the theme, the more possibility for a blog to attract readers. They must also make sure they post original content and not plagiarised material.
Secondly, It is very important to include lots of pictures and videos in your blog. People easily get bored if a blog contains too much text and only a few or no pictures, videos or audio.
Thirdly, I told students that they must also make use of social media to publicise their blogs. Try as much as possible to provide a link of any posting you publish in all of your social media accounts.
Apart from the above three advises, I also want to emphasize that if you want to have loyal audience who visit your everyday , you must also make sure that you post new content everyday or at least regularly.
In my lecture today, I taught student a number of things on how to create blogs. I also gave them an assignment gave to create blogs of their own. Some of the things I taught students today include how include pictures (and writing a caption) and videos in their blog posts. I also taught them how to create links as wells as adding other gadgets.
By the way, don't mind or stress asking yourself how these pictures relate to this article. I have included them for lack of betters ones. Important thing with these images is that students should be reminded to include pictures in their postings.
